The investor read
A multi-year second opinion — not a trade.
What it is
Most of what TradeRead AI publishes is a trader's setup: a confirmation level, an invalidation, targets, and a verdict afterwards. The investor read is the other mode, and it is built on the opposite assumption — that you are not entering this week and not leaving next month.
It reads the multi-year price structure on a weekly timeframe, classifies where the asset stands in its cycle — accumulation, markup, distribution, decline or base-building — and then argues a case.
What it returns
- The thesis — what the multi-year structure says, whether the fundamentals back it, and whether this looks like an opportunity or a trap. Written as an investor thinking out loud, not as a scorecard.
- Fundamentals vs price — the numbers reconciled against the chart: where they agree, where they contradict, and which of the two to trust here and why.
- Accumulation zones — the price areas where adding has structural sense over years, as ranges with reasoning. Not order tickets.
- Where this thesis is wrong — the explicit kill-switch: the structural break or fundamental deterioration that would invalidate the long-term case.
- What to watch quarterly — two to four concrete metrics, levels or events that decide the next quarters.
If you state your own position — an average cost, an entry, how long you have held it — the read also places that basis against the structure. It never invents a number you did not give it.
What it deliberately does not contain
No entry. No stop. No target. No risk/reward. Those belong to the trading read, and mixing the two produces a document that is neither. The investor read is an argument with a stated way to be wrong, which is a different object from a trade plan.
Dividends and fundamentals
Valuation, fundamental data and dividend history feed the read directly. Where that data is unavailable for a symbol, the analysis says so plainly and reads structure alone — it does not fill the gap with plausible-sounding numbers.
Coverage and access
The investor read covers US and EU stocks. It is available on the site and through the Discord bot. It costs the same as any other analysis and draws on the same allowance — five free per month, then a Trader subscription or a credit pack.
It is analysis, not personal investment advice, and it does not account for your circumstances. See methodology and what TradeRead AI is.
