XRP · 1H · DOWNTREND
The short from my November 3rd read triggered — the zone traded, the 1H close below 1.2820 fired at 15:00 UTC that day, and Target 1 at 1.2100 was the objective. Price never reached 1.2100, and instead ripped back through 1.2820, through the 1.2860–1.3000 entry zone, through the 1.3200 invalidation, and is now sitting at 1.3136. That is a clean stop-out at 1.3200. I'm starting fresh from the failure.
The daily structure is still lower highs and lower lows — that hasn't changed. But what I'm looking at on the 1H is a sharp recovery off the 1.2420 area that's pushed price back above the red dashed reference line near 1.3200, and right into what was my prior resistance zone. The move from the low to current is roughly 90 handles in a straight line. That's not a structure I want to chase long into a daily downtrend, and I'm not shorting the middle of a move that just reclaimed 1.3200 with momentum — mid-range short here gives me poor R/R and the squeeze risk is real with longs sitting at 0.0100% funding.
The liquidation map has dense clusters at 1.35 and 1.39 above, and 1.28 and 1.25 below. Price just swept through the 1.28 cluster on the way up. The 1.35 cluster above is a magnet — that's the natural next stop-hunt target if buyers hold this recovery. I'm watching for a consolidation near the highs or a rejection to give me a clean re-entry on the short side, in line with the daily trend.
SHORT (CONDITIONAL) SCENARIO
Confirmation
1.3400
On a rally to the 1.3400–1.3500 zone, a 1H close back below 1.3350 confirms the rejection and bearish continuation back toward the daily structure.
Invalidation
1.3600
A 1H close above here clears the dense liquidation cluster at 1.35 with momentum and breaks the sequence of lower highs visible across the whole chart window.
Target 1
1.2800
Dense liquidation cluster below; first pause and partial cover zone, and the prior broken resistance shelf.
Target 2
1.2400
Next structural cluster; extended objective if 1.2800 gives way.
Risk/Reward
(1.3350 − 1.2800) / (1.3600 − 1.3350) = 0.0550 / 0.0250 = 2.2:1
Resistance: 1.3400–1.3500 / 1.3600
Support: 1.2800 / 1.2400
